Skelmersdale sex offender is arrested and charged
A WANTED sex offender from Skelmersdale has been arrested by police and charged with a number of offences.
Paul Jevons, 40, was wanted by officers for breaching his sex offender notification requirements by failing to tell police he had moved out of his address in September.
Following enquiries by police, Jevons was arrested on Thursday, February 1 in the Crosby area of Merseyside.
He was arrested and charged with dangerous driving, document offences and breach of his sex offender notification requirements.
He appeared before Wirral Magistrates’ Court on February 2, where he pleaded guilty to having no insurance, not stopping after an accident and driving without a licence.
Jevons will now appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday, March 2.
