Transport police release CCTV images after station argument

by Tom Martin (August 2019)

AN argument between two men at Orrell Park train station led to a fight when one man was punched several times in the head and needed hospital treatment.

At around 5.30pm on July 18, the victim and another man had departed a train at the station and headed towards the exit.

Both men started arguing, and this became heated and one of the men was punched several times to his head. The victim sustained a cut to the left hand side of his face and eyebrow, requiring hospital treatment.

The suspect left the station in the direction of Orrell Lane.

Officers from the British Transport Police (BTP) believe the man shown in this CCTV image may have information which could help them investigate. If you know who he is, contact BTP by sending a text to 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 1900062067.
