TALENTED young schoolchildren have been creating bright, colourful pictures for NHS workers at Aintree University Hospital.
Youngsters from St Teresa’s in Birkdale ‘jumped at the chance’ to create cheerful painting including rainbows and butterflies to go on display at the hospital's reception area.
A spokesperson for St Teresa’s said: “Like any other school, we have a lot of key workers and our amazing teachers, Mrs Moon & Mrs Kirkham, are in the classroom with the children.
“When one of the key worker parents asked if the school children would produce some pictures to brighten a reception area at Aintree Teaching Hospital, the children and staff jumped at the chance. “They now proudly adorn the walls for staff at the hospital to enjoy every time they walk past.
“Let's hope they continue to bring them smiles during this difficult time. Well done to all our NHS staff and all key workers.
“The school’s children, parents, teachers and governors hope that Champion readers all stay safe and well.”
