A FORMER Southport KGV student who is now a lyricist and songwriter is hoping to win the ‘United Kingdom Songwriting Competition’
JJ Parki, 31, now lives in Spain where he works as a language teacher.
He said: “I have written lyrics since I was 11 years old and entering the UK Songwriting Contest is extremely exciting as, finally, my lyrics can now be heard and judged by professionals in the music industry.
“I can only hope that my songs stand out among the other artists’ submissions.”
“Teaching is my vocation, however I’d like to be considered the next Tim Rice or Bernie Taupin and make a living through my lyrics.”
