Artist has work chosen for online Rome exhibition

by Tom Martin (July 2020)

A PARBOLD painter has had her work chosen for an online exhibition by a gallery in Rome.

Tina Martin was inspired to paint the trees in St Ann’s Square Manchester with the Christmas market below and it was entered for consideration to Counterweave Gallery, in Rome, for their online exhibition Art Under Lockdown.

Tina said: “Working on this piece whilst in lockdown I was able to think about the conditions we give to these trees, living in constant light and noise and with the restrictions their roots are planted into.

“I am delighted to have had this painting accepted and have used these months as a way to focus on my paintings while in lockdown.”
