THE Atkinson is looking forward to safely welcoming back their visitors after reopening the popular centre... but only in stages.
From Monday, July 27, customers can visit the library, box office, museum, gallery, shop and takeaway cafe (Mondays to Saturdays 11am - 4pm).
The library has a ‘click & collect’ service and items can be returned and reservations collected from the external library door. The library offer will be limited to a lending service and essential tasks only.
As with other public services, The Atkinson are limiting the number of visitors allowed into the building.
Visitors are also required to provide NHS Test & Trace details on arrival and being asked to limit their visit to a maximum of one hour per day and adhere to social distancing measures throughout the building.
The Atkinson’s Theatre and Studio remain closed, but the box office team are available to help with booking enquiries, refunds and exchanges.
In the museum and gallery there is a one-way system in place and the interactive displays have been temporarily removed.
The cafe, A Great Little Place, will be offering a takeaway service from the external cafe door with a reduced menu and limited outdoor seating.
