A cat with no tail is looking for a new home again after being returned to an animal shelter for the third time.
Bobby, nine, a black and white domestic short hair cat, is back at Woodlands Animal Sanctuary on Sandy Lane in Holmeswood.
Sally McDerby from the sanctuary said: “Poor Bobby is no longer classed as a young cat and added to that he has no tail - cue the sympathy vote but this chap has had no such luck.
“The saying goes ‘third time lucky’ but this is the third time the loving team from Woodlands have taken Bobby back. Surely the fourth time he trusts someone to give him the hope of a happy ever after will be the forever one?
“All this moving house and families, has not suited him and Bobby is now struggling to adjust to his temporary shelter life and the animal carers who look after him are becoming increasingly upset and concerned for him.
“Bobby does need a quiet household and one that does not have any children, but if you think he is the companion for you then please contact us.”
