Citizens Advice Sefton are reassuring the borough’s residents that their Money Advice Team are ‘working from home and continuing to support our local communities.’

Rachel Penny from Citizens Advice Sefton said: “Our Money Advice Team has adapted quickly so staff, volunteers and clients are safe during the coronavirus pandemic.

“They provide advice with any aspect of debt, with support and solutions that are right for people. “As part of the debt support we provide we also look at ways to make the most of your money and budgeting. With the payments for mortgages, rent, credit cards and Council Tax starting again soon we want to help people with the money they owe before it becomes a problem and people start experiencing stress or other health issues due to debt. Please spread the word amongst your friends and family that we are still here and can help.

“Anyone can make a referral by emailing or ringing 0151 318 6407 – you’ll need to leave your contact details and brief information of what you want us to help you with. We also have a WhatsApp number you can use new service where clients can self-refer via WhatsApp on 07984127134.”
