by Tom Martin (October 2020)

BOOTLE FC has reopened its Berry Street Garage Stadium and the first team have been able to start their season after the club shut down for two weeks.

The club confirmed at the start of the month that it had effectively closed down their ground as a result of the growing coronavirus cases in the area.

As a result of the move, the Bucks' first-team saw their first four league games of the season postponed, while the club's function room and bar were also closed.

However, the club has now reopened for organised sport only, but their function room and bar would remain closed in line with the tier 3 restrictions the Liverpool City Region.
