AN INSPIRATIONAL youngster has run three miles to raise funds for children going hungry during the school holidays.

St Luke’s Primary School pupil Jennifer Waring, seven, from Formby, completed the run around the village in 44 minutes on Tuesday, October 27 to raise £1,140, with £800 donated to Southport Food Bank and the rest to Sefton Women’s and Children’s Aid, who are already collecting for Christmas gifts to give out to children this December.
