A FORMER Southport KGV student who is now a lyricist and songwriter is launching his new show at 1pm tomorrow (Saturday, November 14) on Merseyside Dementia Friendly Radio.
JJ Parki, 31, who lives in Spain where he works as a language teacher, will be presenting some of his collaborations with a focus on music aiding people with dementia. He will be playing a selection that will to encourage reminiscence, with the focus on MDFR's dementia-friendly culture.
He recently entered the United Kingdom Songwriting Competition, from which each of his eight submitted songs achieved 4 stars out of 5 and Commended Entry.
He said: “Since then, I am now collaborating on a song, that I submitted into the contest, for the Liverpool International Song For Kindness Contest and, too, presenting for Merseyside Dementia Friendly Radio.
