WOULD you like a personalised letter from Santa?
The team at Woodlands Hospice on Longmoor Lane have a launched a ‘Message from Santa’ service this year to deliver children in the area a personalised video message and letter from Santa, whilst raising vital funds for their services.
Christmas can be a magical time and Woodlands Hospice are hoping to capture this magic by creating personalised video messages and letters for children in the lead up to the festive holiday. With grottos filling fast and restrictions on many of the usual Christmas activities still in place, the hospice team are hoping their ‘virtual’ messaging option will be a perfect solution for parents struggling to keep the festive spirits high this year, all while raising vital funds for the hospice’s services.
Paula Parle, Woodlands Hospice Community Fundraising Manager, says, “We’re so excited to offer our ‘Message from Santa’ service to our supporters and local community. It’s been a strange year to say the least but hopefully our new Message from Santa service will help to provide our community a sprinkle of magic to help make Christmas extra special this year and will provide children and families a special keepsake they can look back on in years to come!”
The messaging service will cost £10 per child for a personalised video and a letter to be sent from Mr Claus himself, with all proceeds going directly to supporting Woodlands Hospice patients, families and services.
Paula added, “By taking part in our ‘Message from Santa’ service you’ll not only be supporting us this Christmas you’ll be helping us to continue providing quality, specialised care to our patients and supporting their families, carers and other loved ones through their most difficult times.”
