Youngsters mark Mental Health Week with activity days

by Danielle Thompson (November 2020)

PUPILS at Ormskirk CE Primary School have enjoyed a range of activities during Mental Health Week. They followed the BBC’s Five To Thrive campaign led by Joe Wicks, Dr Radha and Blue Peter.

Five to Thrive is a unique programme of wellbeing activities designed to help children feel better about themselves – as well as helping others.  Each day, the children had a specific focus to help build a healthy mental well-being.

As a finale to the week, children in Years 2 to Year 6 took part in a triathlon which included swimming, go carting and running around the school grounds.
