Charity looking for support in aid of ‘Xmas Party Heroes’ campaign

Charity looking for support in aid of ‘Xmas Party Heroes’ campaign

by Henry James (December 2020)

RAINBOW Hub, the Mawdesley based charity, supporting children and young people with physical and neurological disabilities, is hoping for support from local companies through the Xmas Party Heroes campaign.

This initiative was originally set up to encourage companies to support charities who are facing difficult times caused by Covid-19.

The idea is that they donate funds that would have been used for staff Christmas parties which cannot now take place due to the pandemic.

The Xmas Party Heroes web site https://xmaspartyheroes.co.uk is funded by two founder companies and does not take any fees or commission. All donations go straight to the chosen charity.

Rainbow Hub has already had a donation of more than £3,000 from Wainhomes and hopes that more local companies will also join the campaign and support them by donating, no matter how small, the cost of what would usually be spent on Christmas parties, secret Santa gifts or Christmas cards.

If a company would like to get involved and support them, then they should visit the web site https://www.rainbowhub.org/get-involved/donate/ and let Rainbow Hub know they have donated and become #XmasPartyHeroes.
