Police appeal after collision in Bootle

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Bootle on Tuesday, 19 January.

Shortly before 8pm, emergency services were called to Knowsley Road, near the junction with Stanley Road, following reports of a collision involving a grey Mercedes A-class and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 14-year-old girl, attended hospital for treatment to minor injuries.

An investigation is ongoing and the driver of the car is assisting with enquiries.
