Two brothers from Seaforth have been found guilty of the murder of Michael Rainsford after he was shot dead in Litherland.
The 20-year-old victim was killed on Tuesday, April 7 at his home on Harrington Road when he was shot in the chest and back by a shooter who was riding an electric bike and opened fire from outside the house.
Michael’s family desperately tried to save him and he was taken to hospital, but sadly he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Today (16th February) at Liverpool Crown Court. James Foy, 19 and Michael Foy, 22, both of Rossini Street in Seaforth, were convicted of murder.
Their mum, uncle and neighbour were each found guilty of working to prevent them from facing justice.
All five will be sentenced on March 12.
