A local school has managed to fundraise enough money to buy a defibrillator for their local community.
Pupils and staff at Dalton St Michael's C.E. Primary School are delighted that the potentially life saving piece of medical equipment has now been placed at the front of the building.
Headteacher Adele Robinson said: “After fundraising in school and with local residents, we managed to raise enough funding to buy a defibrillator for our local community. It has now been installed at the front of school for use by people in our locality. We are so proud of our children, families and local friends in helping us to raise this amount of money in such trying times.”
