Man accused of £15k clothes theft to appear in crown court

A Southport man accused of stealing more than £15,000 worth of clothing from his employer is to face a crown court judge. 

Owen Taylor, of Athole Grove, has admitted stealing clothing worth a total of £15,957 belonging to Marc Bell between August 20, 2019 and January 21 last year.

The 19-year-old has been committed by Liverpool Magistrates’ Court to the city’s crown court for sentence on April 21 and he has been remanded on unconditional bail.
