NHS South Sefton Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has a new face at the helm.
Dr Pete Chamberlain has been announced as the new chair of the health group.
He takes on the role from Dr Craig Gillespie who has worked with the CCG as a Governing Body member for eight years and has been in the role of both vice chair and chair in that time.
Dr Chamberlain said: “As a local GP it is an honour to be able to serve south Sefton residents through this role.
“It comes at an exciting time where as a local health and social care system, individuals and organisations have demonstrated incredible collaboration, tenacity and dedication in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I will be helping to facilitate a more joined up way of working with our partners and neighbouring CCGs and building on the great work of Dr Gillespie with the CCG team.”
