HEALTH care assistant Chelsea Manongwa has been named as Maghull’s representative in a prestigious beauty pageant competition.
Chelsea has recently been crowned Miss Maghull Galaxy 2021.
The 20-year-old, who attended Deyes High School and now works for Bliss Recruitment, will be appearing at the national finals on November 28 at Park Hall hotel in Lancashire.
If Chelsea wins, she will be crowned Miss Galaxy UK and will be able to complete in the International Galaxy Pageant abroad in summer 2022.
Chelsea said: “I hope to win the national finals, so I can represent England in the international finals next year.”
Before then, Chelsea will be taking part in community events, and added: “I will be helping out in my community and I’m more than happy to take part in charity events and work.
“I have already been to my first appearance at the Maghull vaccination centre to thank the staff for the great work and there will be more.
“I’m happy to represent Maghull as grew up here and still live here.
“I look forward to meeting more people, and learn more about Maghull during my time as Miss Galaxy Maghull.”
