That’s the message from the team at Citizens Advice Sefton, who need volunteers urgently to support their telephone advice service.
A spokesperson for Citizens Advice Sefton said: “No previous experience is required as you will be offered a comprehensive programme of training for the role.
“We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds, including Black Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) volunteers, disabled volunteers, LGBT volunteers and non-binary volunteers.
“You do not need any specific qualifications, but you will need to have basic IT skills, be friendly and approachable, be a good listener, and have a respect for views, values and cultures that are different from your own.”
