THIS year’s Poppy Appeal for Crosby, Waterloo and Bootle raised more than £32,000.
The funds will be used to support veterans and serving military together with their families.
Volunteers involved in the appeal included Air Cadets from Crosby and Maghull and scouts from Netherton.
The Poppy Appeal Organiser, Robin McGrath said: “I am really delighted with the response from the public, both as volunteers and their generosity.”
If anyone would like to volunteer to support the Appeal next year and/or would like to join Crosby RBL contact us on 0151 924 0721 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
They are based in Crosby Village in a shop’s premises which will be the Legion Centre for future activities.
