A MAN is in a critical condition in hospital with head injuries after an incident involving a crossbow in Tarleton.
The man who is in his 20s who was found suffering from a head injury on Brick Kiln Way in the village shortly after 7am on Sunday, May 15.
He was taken to the Royal Preston Hospital where is condition remains critical.
A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: “Enquiries are on-going but at this stage we believe the injury was caused by a crossbow.
“We are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
“Our thoughts remain with the man’s family at this time.”
