EMERGENCY services were called to Lord Street after a van was involved a collision with a pedestrian.
The incident happened at around 10.10am on Tuesday, June 21 and the driver stopped at the scene. Thankfully the pedestrian only received minor injuries.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: “At around 10.10am we received a report of a collision involving a white van and a pedestrian on Lord Street, Southport, at the junction with East Bank Street.
“The pedestrian received treatment at the scene for minor injuries. The driver of the van stopped at the scene and is assisting police with enquiries.”
