WEST Lancs District Schools Under 11 girls team have won the Lancashire cup.
They beat Preston 6-3 in the semi-final and then played Blackburn and Darwin in the final at AFC Darwin on Thursday, June 16.
The West Lancs girls won 2-1 with a late winner in a very close game.
The under 11s also had the opportunity to play at Goodison Park in May contesting the Everton Plate against Knowsley ending the competition as runners up.
