THOUSANDS of people enjoyed the three-day Formby Festival.
After a two year absence due to Covid, the popular event returned with a bang to Duke Street Park as locals enjoyed a firework display, live music, bingo, fair ground rides, refreshments and much more.
It kicked off on Friday, July 15 and the hot weather over the coming two days ensured a huge turnout as people made the most of the sun and fun.
Formby Festival was first held in 2013 to recreate the former ‘Formby Shows’, which used to be popular many years ago.
It is now a regular part of Formby’s summer calendar on the third weekend in July.
