MEMBERS from the West Lancs MG Owners Club have exhibited at the Much Hoole Classic Vehicle Cars Motor Bikes Trucks and Tractor Show.

The West Lancs MG Owners Club members gathered on Tesco Car Park at Burscough and proceeded to the show venue at the New Village Hall, Liverpool Old Road, Much Hoole.

The club was represented by nine cars as follows:- three MG TF’s; one MG F; one MG TC; 1 TD; one MGB; one MG BGT; and one Riley Elf.

Dorothy Cottriall , the publicity officer for West Lancs MG Owners Club, said: “Although this show is a comparatively small one it was very well attended with a variety of beautiful and interesting vehicles in attendance.

“The site has a new Village Hall which provided very well organised arrangements for the supply of refreshments together with a variety of craft stalls and an area for the sale of car spares.

“The entrance was by charitable donation and there was an excellent raffle and Lucky Dip with some very good prizes. As the day was a hot one, members had some welcome shelter under the Club’s Gazebo for picnics.

“After the judging had been concluded, we were delighted to find out the WLMGOC had been awarded First place to John Dickinson and Second place to Steve Till (events organiser).

“The day ended with success and was enjoyed by all.

“If you are interested in Classic cars and would like to join our Club our meetings are held every third Tuesday of the month at 8pm at Briars Hall Hotel, Lathom or check out our website on www.westlancsmg.co.uk.”
